Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Aim Star Learning is located in Renton Washington and is looking for BCBA’s to join our team of highly skilled clinicians. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality services to our clients through small BCBA caseloads and ongoing supervision to BCBAs and extensive RBT training, a 10-20% supervision model, and professional development opportunities.

  • Conduct intakes and create treatment plans
  • Write acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans
  • Conduct FBA’s, FA’s, indirect assessments, and criterion-based assessments
  • Supervise RBTs working with clients
  • Provide feedback and ongoing training to RBTs
  • Analyze data and implement/adjust interventions
  • Provide parent training
  • Coordinate care with schools and other providers
  • Attend team and staff meetings
  • Collaborate with peers
  • Provide feedback and ideas for how to better serve our clients
  • Conduct classroom assessments
  • Develop class-wide behavior or reinforcement plans
  • Conduct FBA and develop PBSP
  • Develop reports of progress
  • Participate in presentations, workshops, and/or trainings for school staff

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
Certified Behavior Technician (CBT)

Certified Behavior Technician

Aim Star Learning is in search of a full and part-time behavior therapist (15-40 hours a week). This is an entry level position where you will receive training to become a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT). CBT's are responsible for delivering instruction to students with autism, challenging behaviors, and other special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training, and you will be provided with multiple weekly opportunities to collaborate with experienced BCBA. Full-time, Part-time,Weekends and evenings available.

  • Work 1:1 with clients with developmental disabilities and/or emotional behavior disorders
  • Follow behavior plans and acquisition plans created by a BCBA
  • Collect data on all target behaviors
  • Attend team meetings
  • Update parents/teachers daily
  • Write daily session notes
  • Collaborate with BCBA during observations
  • Daily set up and clean up

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred if in psychology, social work, education, or related field
  • Experience working with children and/or people with disabilities
  • Strong desire to work with students with special needs
  • A strong desire to work in a dynamic team and advance their knowledge and skills in Applied Behavior Analysis and Natural Environment Training.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to pass criminal background clearance
  • CPR certified (within 30 days)
  • A reliable automobile with current proof of car insurance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass FBI criminal background clearance
